ASGARDEX Maintainers

ASGARDEX Maintainers is an open-source collective that builds ASGARDEX, a cross-platform desktop application engineered as both a non-custodial wallet and a native frontend to the THORChain liquidity network. The software is written in TypeScript and Electron, giving Windows users a lightweight yet powerful interface for managing THORChain-based assets without surrendering private keys. Core modules cover seed-phrase generation, hierarchical deterministic address derivation, UTXO and EVM coin support, real-time balance tracking, transaction history export, and one-click swapping between BTC, ETH, BNB, LUNA, DOGE, AVAX and other Layer-1 currencies that THORChain bridges. A built-in decentralized exchange layer automatically finds cross-chain liquidity pools, calculates slip fees, and constructs THORChain TSS transactions, allowing traders to rebalance portfolios or provide liquidity while remaining in full control of funds. Advanced features include multi-send for batch payments, memo parsing for liquidity withdrawal, ledger hardware-wallet integration, and network-level endpoint switching for redundancy. The codebase is MIT-licensed, peer-reviewed on GitHub, and released through automated CI pipelines that publish signed Windows installers.
